tribute # 35- Mosha's poem

Inuit elders
(traditionally set adrift on ice floes
when they're past saving)

have insolvable counterparts
the honorably greeted
urban, diseased, lost on cement floes

he concludes:
indifference has always
been part of surviving

disconnect
isn't necessarily bad;
difficult strength, strategy
