anecdote #59 - (double-length) John

I love how he's unequivocal; "I can't talk now."

or he can

and does
explicitly setting out boundary of time free
and sticks to it.

that's straightforward, workable.

(frustrating is: others, who, when I ask if they are free to visit,
lie, throw over other plans and people,
pretend, mhhm-mhmm, to listen but aren't present
or hand-heart-twist profuse apologizationing.)

John's habit speaks to a faith in futures;
not fretting as if I'm a one-shot opportunity.

Centeredness,
succinct as need, single-tasking, calms.

Oh yes, nice to get it straight.
