anecdote #78 - David Cassidy

sings. I remember the Partridge Family songs.
mom's attic has his poster. as a kid, I had this
feathered hair, slim and grinning
man over my bed. no memory of this.
utter erasure contradicted by physical evidence
among recognizable stuff.

Sometimse it's as if we are two (or more--I think more) selves, and memory doesn't stick with each one of us.

Durable goods often make a liar out of my memory.
