anecdote # 244 - medical assistant (early 90s) (1 1/2 length)

looked at me like she couldn't decide:
idiot, delusional or unwelcome joker.

patronizing sting: breasts don't change
cup size by time of month. finally

corroborating words: defused that glance
of attitude that would overrule self-knowledge,

back-burner bother. they do flux
commonly. didn't know I wore

the cusp of the next cup periods pushed them out
into compression, sore. silences unhelpful.
