anecdote # 284 - the fighter

in childhood I read of a guy
who, popped one on the nose, died,
the bone driven into his brain.

 anatomical myth.

how many hundreds times
flinching, ducking millimetres,
that story fast-forwarding.

now that it's not true, can
response disappear?

I'm pretty sure you really can actually kill somebody by ramming their septum back into their skull/brain. Not exactly sure I'm eager to research that, but I think its a kill-technique amongst special forces and plain old jerks in general.

rats.

so hard to tell what credible is some times.

reasoning is only good so far as the data is.
