editorial aside

Some names I change and initials randomize
for some people's anonymity, privacy, safety.

I wonder if pointing, telling a person "This
is you" if there'd be any recognition.

tricky tightrope narratives, especially unflattering
anecdotes. it is misshapen fragments I internalize.

I find I'm doing the same thing. Mostly I use real names, but when it's just too close, or too pointed, I use either initials or made up names like "The Know-it-All."

I've only posted 28, but have over 100 written so it's been an issue I've been dealing with.
