he belly-laughed,
explained "what she means is:
why have you been absent for 4 days"
K was punctual except when –
door still falling shut – announced
"There's going to be a hard life for us Arabs now.
A plane crashed. They're going to blame us all."

Unfortunately "K" was right. I hate it that Americans have painted a whole class of people with one brush. It's not fair.
